The Fountain Clinic is holding its major fundraiser, “Night at the Louvre,” on Friday, June 5 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The event will be hosted at Venue 19 Zero 9 in downtown Marshall. This year’s event will feature an unforgettable evening of French-inspired cuisine, a curated art gallery with live painting demonstrations and an exciting selection of silent and live auctions including trips to South Haven, Grand Rapids, The Grand Hotel and World Traveler Package for a trip of your choice valued at over $2000. There will be items for your home and garden, gift cards to your favorite restaurants and stores, Ray-Ban his and her sunglasses, gorgeous artwork, purses and tote bags and much more.
The proceeds from this unforgettable evening will support the operations of the Fountain Clinic, which provides free primary medical and dental care to low-income, uninsured members of our community. In addition, the clinic provides assistance with Medicaid and insurance applications, mental health services, monthly blood pressure and blood sugar testing, and social services. The Director of the Clinic, Mary Jo Byrne stated, “The Clinic has seen an increase in medical patients this year due in large to the loss of tax subsidies for insurance policies offered by the Affordable Health Care Act. We have not turned anyone away, but we have had to add staff to ensure everyone receives care. This is why the fundraiser is so important to us.”
